Open studio at Camden Arts Centre
Saturday 14th September 2019

Being Artist in Residence at Camden Arts Centre during the months of August and September 2019, I developed a series of site-responsive experiments; the singular objects and tests were exhibited as one breathing body of temporary occurances. Translating form and function from the static components found within the drawing studio, the victorian features found in the buildings roof became echoed in ceramic shells and cracks in the galleries terrazzo floor solidified into sculpture. The installation behaved as an archive of findings, peripheral happenings and unsettled material processopening, opening up often unseen nooks and occurances ‘behind’ the galleries public display.
