Created over the months that span the installation’s title, these hourglass shaped forms contain within their structures the roman numerial translations of the very dates they were made on. Playing with the translation of time, the sculptures cast shadows of the numerical nets they are built from. These catalogued dates become jumbled and lost again as the sun shifts the shadows, the weather becomes cloudy and the time of encounter varies from viewer to viewer.

A section of the installation was glazed but left unfired, part of this work has been altered and collaborated with July rain. This part will now be fired and this elemental activity will continue the archival nature of this installation bringing it up to date a few months after it’s initial creation.
