Over the first weekend of October, Grizedale Arts in Lowick, Cumbria hosted a clay-centered weekend of workshops. Collaborating with Frances Gibson and Rochester Square, we encouraged families and friends to construct performative characters centred around stories relating to the cyclical themes of nature, clay and food. Bringing together the collaborative stories made during Social Clay, we invited visitors to interact with props, a small-scaled theatre and filming equipment to bring their finger puppets to life.
