I can see now, 2025
Mixed media in paper pulp
170 x 100 x 6 cm
Curious of how material abundance contemplates within gaps and through surfaces that break; paper, metal, tarmac and clay have been translated into this hybrid material surface that contaminate, fuse and collapse together. Paper waste is a transformative vehicle that is collaboratively collected and transformed; collective contributions of notes, sketches, letters and analogue communications, fuse with street-found debris, industrial waste, hovering drawings and pulped pools of colour. 'I can see now' was formed from many material cycles in which paper and water turned thrown away words into liquid, drawings into unregonisble pulp and forgotten fragments into fossils.
